Lonavla

“In every walk with nature, one receives more than he seeks”

Last December, we made short trip to Lake Pawna (Lonavla, Maharashtra), a beautiful hill station, about 118 kms from Mumbai city.

Whilst I have been to Lonavla a few times in the past, this trip was quite special for many reasons… for one, this was our first holiday with our bundle of joy!!!

Me and my bundle of joy 🙂

For the past 2 years, I had taken a break from almost everything so I could focus on my pregnancy and embrace this beautiful journey into motherhood. Now that my little one is nearing a year, I have again embarked on this journey of sharing my life through these blogs 🙂

Coming back to Lonavala… the journey was absolutely blissful, admiring the foggy mountains along the way soothed our minds and finally, when we reached our destination – Club Mahindra Tungi, Lake Pawna – I was enthralled by the gorgeous landscape and scenic beauty.

The weather was just perfect! The December winter had set in and there was mist everywhere. The cool breeze hitting our face, hearing the chirping birds… all the vibes building up made me excited and I was looking forward for having a great time.

The resort had majestic views – overlooking the Tungi Fort at one end and Lake Pawna on the other end.

It is a well maintained property spread across a few acres of land with plenty of open space to take a stroll around the property.

There are plenty of activities for kids to keep them entertained. Restaurant served scrumptious food, with buffet and à la carte options. If you visit this place on weekends, do checkout the special buffet menu.

Another aspect of the resort are the beautiful flowers planted all through the resort space which made every stroll delightful.

Overall, we had an amazing stay at the property, thoroughly enjoyed every moment we spent there!
