Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/ suspension bridge which connects Manhattan and Brooklyn across the East river. At the time of its construction, it was also the world’s longest suspension bridge.

Exploring the Brooklyn Bridge was amazing. It’s this huge, incredible bridge that spans the East River. We got lucky and stayed close by, so we decided to walk across it and check out the area nearby.

Walking across the bridge was something else. We could see the whole city skyline from up there, with all the tall buildings and everything. It was cool to see how the old bridge fits in with the modern city.

We arrived at the Brooklyn Bridge in the evening, and boy, was it bustling! Locals were out for leisurely strolls, while visitors snapped photos left and right. Bicyclists zipped by, adding to the lively scene. It was all so exciting to watch, but here’s the catch: with so much going on, we didn’t get as many photos as we hoped for.

Some folks told us that the best time to visit the Brooklyn Bridge is in the morning. They said the light is perfect, and it’s not as crowded. But for whatever reason, we couldn’t swing a morning visit this time around. No worries, though! It just gives us a great excuse to come back for another trip in the future. And you bet we’ll make that morning trip happen next time!
